A biographical film directed and produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, stars Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor. The film is based on the life of former Indian athlete Milkha Singh. It will hit the theaters on 12 July, 2013.
Raanjhanaa
A romantic film directed by Anand L. Rai of ‘Tanu Weds Manu fame’ and produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner Eros International. The film stars Tamil film actor Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. The first theatrical trailer of Raanjhanaa was released on April 24, 2013 and within just 4 days it reached 2 million views on YouTube. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on June 21, 2013
Bullet Raja
A Gangster-thriller film written and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia who won Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay and National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2013 for Paan Singh Tomar. The film stars Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in leading roles. The film is scheduled to release on 6 September, 2013.
Chennai Express
A romantic comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan. The film stars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. While this will be the first time Rohit would not be directing Ajay Devgan in his film, this will be the second collaboration between SRK and Deepika Padukone after Om Shanti Om. The film is expected to release on this Eid, 8 August, 2013.
Zanjeer
Upcoming action film directed and produced by Apoorva Lakhia which is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. The film stars Priyanka Chopra in the female lead role and Telugu film actor Ram Charan Teja in the lead roles. It’s a remake of the 1973 Hindi film of the same name directed by Prakash Mehra. The film is scheduled to release on June 14, 2013.
Shootout at Wadala
An action-crime drama film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film is a sequel to 2007 released Shootout at Lokhandwala and it features John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood in lead roles. The story of the film is based on an encounter between Mumbai Police and gangster Manya Surve, which took place at the junction next to Dr. Ambedkar college, Wadala. The film is expected to release on May 3, 2013
Once upon a Time in Mumbai Again
Another gangster movie and coincidentally a sequel too! The film is a sequel of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai which was released in 2010. While the story of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai was based on 1970s Bombay, the sequel will showcase the era of 1980s. Both the films are directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The film is expected to release on this Eid, 8 August 2013 along with Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express.
Yamla Pagla Deewana 2
The Deol family is back again with an action-comedy film. The film is a sequel to Yamla Pagla Deewana which was released in 2011 and was a huge box office hit. Along with Sunny Deol, Dharmendra and Bobby Deol the film features Neha Sharma and debutant Kristina Akheeva as the female leads. The film is expected to hit the theaters on 7 June, 2013.
Krrish 3
After the huge success of Koi… Mil Gaya and Krrish, directer-producer Rakesh Roshan is all set to bring the third film of the Krrish film series. The film will feature Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra from the previous film along with Vivek Oberoi, Kangna Ranaut and Shaurya Chauhan in pivotal roles.The film is scheduled to release during Diwali along with its 3D format on November 03, 2013.
Dhoom 3
An action-thriller film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. It will be the third film of the popular Dhoom series and it stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra.
